Can I get a witness?
Does it say something about our society that fuckyeahskinnybitch is the top blog in the US(they’re currently no. 2, behind blogsecret- but anyways). I mean there’s something like 40,000 tumblarity points separating the no.2 blog and the no. 10.
What are we doing? Is tumblarity really an accurate representation of the culture in America?
There are a few highlights though, a blog like Ned Hepburn’s (http://nedhepburn.tumblr.com) is very interesting. I mean he’s witty and all and I follow him but is he also part of the problem? I can’t say yes or no. Bonerparty is funny and true, but the line of humorous observation and the objectification of women is a fine line, but I think- rarely crossed.
I mean, I got into tumblr becasue blogger is cumbersome and I love how tumblr is so easy to use, but the meme’s and mindless re-blogs… Ugh.
I guess what I’m really trying to say is that I’d like to see more people really posting what’s on their mind, honestly and not just a photo of Mary-Kate looking hungry.
Oh well, tumblr it’s my birthday and I think a special lady has a special day planned for us so I’ll be sure to post some pictures. Fuck yeah!
