ohdeceiver: This is a load of complete SHIT. I love that there’s an industry on tumblr, and in the real world that is devoted entirely to making young teens feel great about themselves. Who comes up with this shit? Is this like a promotion from writing greeting cards? Does it even remotely work? Who are these teens that are like, at home, in like a landlocked state, hoping to just feel slightly better about themselves? What kind of world do they live in? Do they watch the news? Are they at all prepared for the realities of life? Do they shop at H & M? Is there a Twee class after Home Ec.? Do they LOVE the radio? Or download music? Are they the kind of person who has like, 15k artists in their iPod with just one song from each? Are they the only ones keeping Zooey D employed? Will they ever know what it’s like to lose their virginity in the back of a 65’ powder blue Mustang with the column shifter, crank windows, white leather seats, and a CD player installed secretly in the glove box? Do they think it’s still possible to buy the world a Coke?
