Saw Ghostbusters in a theater…
and it was amazing.
Took a train, a cab, and then walked, because East Village traffic on a Saturday is the WORST. They should just close off the bridges and tunnels at sundown Friday and open them dawn Sunday mornings. h8 u b&t crowd.
Movie Highlights
- everyone cheered the first appearance of major characters
- everyone really booed Walter Peck “It’s true, this man has no dick…THAT’S WHAT I HEARD!”
- Key lines were quoted aloud by everyone (full house)
- I had a great seat, even though I was late
- lots of applause for everything
- the film looked real real good in a super large format. I should make a point of seeing older films like them whenever possible. Color, clarity were great. Negative was that the reel switches could have been smoother, ah well.
- BONUS it was only 9.99$ cheaper than seeing a new release.
So. Much. Fun.
“Personally, I liked the university. They gave us money and facilities, we didn’t have to produce anything! You’ve never been out of college! You don’t know what it’s like out there! I’ve worked in the private sector. They expect results.”
TONIGHT AT MIDNIGHT LIKE 3 BLOCKS FROM MY HOUSE, GHOSTBUSTERS IS PLAYING IN THEATERS FOR 9.99. I’M THERE, HELL OR HIGH WATER. Thank you Matt Struble for the heads up!<3

Gozer the traveler. He will come in one of the pre-chosen forms. During the rectification of the Vuldranii the traveler came as a large and moving Torb! Then, during the Third Reconciliation of the last of the Meketrex supplicants, they chose a new form for him, that of a giant Sloar! Many Subs and Zuuls knew what it was to be roasted in the depths of a Sloar that day, I can tell you.
In the ways we interact with celebrities
Had to do it, you guys. When I heard that Dan Aykroyd was coming to Naples, I had to go. I planned the day around it. I was so excited and I wasn’t disappointed.

We arrived an hour and a half early, and we were still about 50 back from the front of the line, though if we had showed up 30 minutes later, we’d still be waiting in line.
There’s this awkward thing going on though, tons of kids dressed up as Ghostbusters, full outfits and a everything, and it made me honestly uncomfortable. “Hey! I’m a total fan, look at me!” These kids screamed. The fans came from hours away.

I brought my copy of My Girl, and Nothing But Trouble along for an autograph. Pretty stoked on that.
Of course the whole reason Danny was in Naples, was because he makes a Vodka now, called Crystal Head. Which relies heavily upon mysticism, ghosts, and UFOs and other unexplainables as selling points, and I bought it, hook, line, and sinker. Here’s my 50$ bottle of vodka.

Autographed, of course.
So cool…. Now I get to sit around and actually drink it.

Legend has it that the 13 Crystal Heads are said to project enlightenment, positive energy, and mystical properties….so what better vessel to hold a non-enhanced vodka that is “Pure Spirit.”
